Spread all eleven arcs across the floor and there’s a puzzle to solve fitting the curves back together, largest to smallest, until the whole rainbow clicks into place. It’s the sort of quiet, absorbing work that keeps a child kneeling on the rug far longer than you’d expect.

Then the puzzle gets abandoned for something better. The arcs become curved walls, floors, and rooflines, and with the stacking tunnels or a handful of blocks, a whole modern dollhouse takes shape rounded and unusual, nothing like a boxy plastic one. Little architects design as they go, and no two builds come out the same.

Why we love the Grimm’s Rainbow Semi-Circles:

• A Giant Floor Puzzle: Eleven graduated arcs to nest, order, and fit back together, working out size and sequence along the way.
• Modern Dollhouse Building: Curved walls and rooflines that combine with stacking tunnels and blocks into inventive, flexible houses.
• Bright Rainbow Shades: Bold colours that bring sorting, matching, and colour naming into the play without anyone making a lesson of it.
• Recognized by Spiel Gut: Carries the German “good toy guide” recommendation, awarded for play value and quality.

What’s the difference between the rainbow and pastel semi-circles?
Just the colours. Both sets have eleven arcs in the same shapes and sizes, and both build identically. The rainbow version comes in bold, saturated shades that make sorting and colour play part of the fun, while the pastel is soft and muted for calmer, more neutral rooms. It comes down to what suits your space.

What does the Spiel Gut recommendation mean?
Spiel gut is an independent German toy assessment group that has been reviewing toys since 1954. A volunteer panel of educators, designers, and parents tests toys with children and only recommends those that score well on play value, durability, safety, and materials. The badge is given, never bought.

Eleven arcs, one puzzle, and a house that curves in all the right places!
